Genuine craftsmanship of quality light meets a cultural treasure with a focus on Karin Larsson's colors and design. The visit to Carl Larsson Gården and Hyttnäs in Sundborn led to an exciting collaboration where the focus quickly ended up on Karin Larsson's fantastic colorful interior and her own embroidery. The patterns that are directly translated into color and shape come from pillows, chair cushions, drapes, canopies and tablecloths embroidered by Karin Larsson. The colored candles have colors taken from the entrance door, wall panel, silk wallpaper, garden fence, dining room decor and wall moldings. Ljusfabriken has then laboured out as accurate colors as possible in color baths where the candles are hand-dipped in the candle factory in Vedum, which since 1962 has produced quality candles according to old craft traditions. The purchase of these candles contributes to the preservation of Carl Larsson Gård's unique cultural treasure for future generations.
