Scented candles that crackle when burning! WoodWick retailers offer the highest quality scented candles and are made in the USA by Virginia Candles, one of the largest and premier candle manufacturers in the United States. The candles come molded in stylish glass containers with wooden lids and are made of natural wax with a soybean base. The patented wooden wick gives the candles their unique sound reminiscent of an open fire, and it also gives the candle a larger flame than traditional candles. Here's how to enjoy your WoodWick candle to the fullest! Place the candle on a flat surface. Is the wick more than about 7-8mm above the wax on your new candle? Light the wick and let it burn for a few minutes until the excess is charred. Extinguish the candle and break off the charred part, then relight the candle. Let the candle burn until the wax melts all the way out to the glass on the sides with each use before extinguishing it. Your candle will then burn better the next time you use it. It is not recommended to have the candle lit in e.g. fireplaces, by open windows or in bathrooms where uneven air currents and drafts can occur as this can affect the burning properties of the candle and cause the flame to soot. Is the flame too high or flaming? Extinguish the candle and trim the wick as described above. Never put the lid on the candle when it is lit or hot, and never leave lit candles unattended!
